Branch Office Profile

The Merrill Lynch San Antonio Office focuses on delivering wealth management strategies to high net worth individuals and businesses while delivering exemplary service. Our goal is to assist clients in wealth accumulation, wealth preservation, and wealth transfer strategies through wealth management planning. The process includes asset allocation, portfolio management, liability management, tax minimization, and asset preservations. We also assist clients with concentrated stock positions and hedging and liquidity strategies through alternative investments, options, and customized liquidity contracts. We work with business owners through all stages of their life cycle, from growth to maturity, by providing cash management for day-to-day operations, short-term financing for capital expansion, long-term financing for equipment or acquisition of a new site. Clients have access to a full range of flexible financing products. We also provide succession planning, the private sale of businesses and group benefit plans.

*Some or all alternative investments may not be suitable for certain investors.

Culture

We provide transparency and openness, and we believe that’s why many clients have remained with us for long periods of time. Our branch’s advisor teams understand and respect the significance that individual investors and families place on trust, and they strive to develop a level of trust and intimacy that we believe is necessary to permit frank discussions on a wide range of individual, multi-generational and business needs. Let’s discuss how our branch and the wide array of services we offer may benefit you.

Through our volunteerism and charitable outreach, our branch helps support the economic, social and cultural life of the communities in which we live and work. In virtually every Merrill location across the country, employees are involved in fundraising activities meant to benefit their many neighborhoods and causes. Our Lone Star Market branch office's financial advisors have one primary goal: to help affluent, high-net-worth and ultra- high-net-worth households and business owners pursue their financial goals. Pursuing those goals can require a sizeable team of financial professionals, led by an experienced Market Executive who is also responsible for hiring experienced advisors and career-changing recruits. The Market Executive in your branch helps to support advisor efforts through innovative planning, active leadership, and exceptional service.

Navigating Risk

Aug 3rd, 2022 | 1:00PM-1:30PM CST

During this fireside chat, we’ll discuss General McChrystal’s new book “Risk: A User’s Guide.” General McChrystal has lived a life associated with the risks of combat. From his first day at West Point, to his years in Afghanistan, he has built a user’s guide on how to overcome whatever comes our way. We’ll cover topics ranging from military history to the business world, illustrating how individuals and organizations can be more prepared for all dimensions of risk. Topics include:

The current geopolitical environment, including the war in Ukraine, NATO’s
response and potential outcomes

Navigating uncertainty and disruptions in our personal and professional lives

Balancing emotion and reason in today’s shifting risk landscape —
and the importance of developing a long-term plan

Observations on emerging post-pandemic operating models
