Jonathan W. Decker is the Resident Director of the Wyomissing Branch, and performs a dual function as financial advisor and team leader. Jon works closely with the Market Executive and concentrates on building the office and culture—including sourcing and hiring, staff development, and taking an active role in the community; leading the client experience standard—which includes coaching advisors and setting a client-centric tone and vision for the office; and leading risk and compliance activities— such as helping to ensure communication and coordination with the local Office Management Team.
The Eastern Pennsylvania Branch is headquartered in our flagship Allentown office and led by our Market Executive, Christopher Reber , a Merrill Lynch veteran since 2005. Chris manages approximately 200 financial advisors, and as often as possible takes the opportunity to interact with their clients to help him gain a deeper understanding of clients’ concerns, risk tolerance, time horizon, liquidity needs and goals. Chris also works closely with the Branch’s Office Management Team to manage risk and help ensure that advisor teams are working to enhance the overall client experience.
The Office Management Team (OMT) collaborates on executing strategic initiatives in the market. The administrative manager team has a primary objective of managing risk, reputational and financial exposure for each advisor and the firm; the client relationship management team addresses all components of the client service experience while driving operational excellence; and the executive team adds its experience in providing the tools, training and support that are essential to the needs of the business and clients.
