In the Princeton Market, ours is a proud tradition that we continue to share with a new generation of clients and advisors. Since 1946 – when our nation’s heroes returned from World War II – we’ve crafted sophisticated strategies on behalf of successful individuals, affluent families and others for whom our “knowledge and know-how” are critical to meeting their complex financial requirements.

From our three offices in Princeton, Downtown Princeton, and nearby Yardley, Pennsylvania, our 150 extraordinary financial advisors and 75 support professionals bring extensive acumen and personal attention to those in the surrounding area and more than 30 states where referred and retired clients call home. The Princeton Market leadership team provides additional support to clients and financial advisors. Deborah Shepherd| MLWM Market Executive| Managing Director

In 1990, Deborah joined Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor in Louisiana – following 5-1/2 years of active service and 5-1/2 years of reserve service as a U.S. Naval Officer (active duty was aboard aircraft carriers along the East Coast).

Since 2002, Deborah has led the Princeton Market. Today, she continues to share her appreciation for discipline and dedication with 140 talented financial advisors and 60 other client-focused professionals. Deborah’s mission is to provide the best possible financial environment for advisors and to support the important roles they play – whether she’s actively involved in recruiting, developing, or coaching them.

On a daily basis, Deborah explores new ways to support financial advisors, giving them streamlined access to the vast research and resources of Merrill Lynch. She believes that superior wealth management stems from an advisor’s ability to spend quality time with clients – not time searching for answers. That’s why she and other members of the Market leadership team make themselves available – to expedite matters for advisors and clients alike.

Charles Gentile| Client Relationship Manager| Vice President

Charles Gentile is the Client Relationship Manager working with Deborah Shepherd, Market Executive for the Princeton, New Jersey and Yardley, Pennsylvania offices. He joined the firm in 2005. Prior to joining Princeton as the Client Relationship Manager in the summer of 2015, Charles was the Associate Client Relationship Manager of the Center City Philadelphia office since 2014. In previous roles, he was responsible for operations management, project management and team management for multiple business units in Merrill Lynch’s corporate office in Pennington, NJ from 2005-2014. Charles holds Series 7, Series 66, Series 9, Series 10 and Series 24 FINRA registrations. He is a life-long resident of the area and resides in Newtown, PA.

Chris Romano| Administrative Manager| Vice President

Chris joined Merrill Lynch in the Fall of 2000. He has held various roles in both sales and management, enabling him to relate well to the needs and challenges of financial advisors and client associates. In his current role, Chris is responsible for daily risk oversight for the Complex, minimizing exposure while implementing a solutions-based approach to accomplishing the goals and objectives of clients and advisors. He is a graduate of DeSales University with a B.A. in management and a minor in psychology. Chris also holds Series 7, Series 66, Series 9 and Series 10 FINRA registrations. Chris and his wife Wendy, along with their four children, live in Bucks County, PA.

Kim Bonanni | Administrative Manager| Vice President

Kim Bonanni is the Administrative Manager for the Princeton Complex. She has over 23 years in the financial services industry which includes 11 years serving in various Field Leadership roles with Merrill Lynch. Prior to joining the Princeton Complex in 2014, Kim was the Non-Producing Sales Manager in the Short Hills Complex. She holds Series 7, Series 63, Series 65 and Series 8 FINRA registrations. Kim previously served on the Board of Directors of the Ridge Touchdown Club, supporting the Football Program at Ridge High School. She lives in Basking Ridge with her family.

Kelli Gill | Client Relationship Manager| Vice President

Kelli Gill is the Client Relationship Manager working with Deborah Shepherd, Market Executive for the Princeton, New Jersey and Yardley, Pennsylvania offices. She joined the firm in 1998. Prior to becoming a Client Relationship Manager, Kelli was the Resident Manager of a Mid Atlantic banking team since 2009, from 2006-2008 a member of the FA and Client Experience team, and from 1999-2006 a Senior Registered Client Associate for a Financial Advisor team. Kelli earned a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Vassar College. She also holds Series 7, Series 66, Series 9, Series 10 and Series 24 FINRA registrations. Kelli and her daughter, Tori, reside in Newtown, PA.

Amy Adler

Amy Adler is the Managing Director’s Assistant working with Deborah Shepherd, Market Executive for the Princeton, New Jersey and Yardley, Pennsylvania offices. Amy joined the firm in 2015. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Amy spent 7 years working in the financial services industry as a Client Associate. In this capacity, she provided support to top-producing financial advisors and their clients on matters relating to income tax, wealth management and estate planning. She also spent 12 years at Merrill Lynch in New York working in the Research and Investing Banking areas. She and her husband, Doug, reside in Manalapan, NJ, with their two children.
